NEWS Mancunian ticket processing company Byrom has registered the first English snafu of the World Cup campaign with the late delivery of 144,000 tickets. The tickets were meant to reach Japan today, but the last consignment will only get there on Saturday. They cover the matches in Japan between 1 June and 3 June. The Japanese World Cup organising committee, JAWOC, has not ruled out handing the tickets out by hand on the day if they don't arrive on time, the Xinhua news agency reported. The Korean organising committee has also received some tickets late from Byrom, and is considering emergency measures to ensure that they reach fans successfully.
