Manugistics to cut 180 staff

NEWS Supply chain management company Manugistics is to slash 180 jobs, or 12 per cent of staff, after posting a 19 per cent drop in first quarter revenue. Losses for the quarter were $27.1m, or 39 cents per share, on revenue of $74.6m. The company blamed the decline on poor sales of its supply chain management software. CEO Richard Bergmann also announced he will take an indefinite leave of absence from the company, citing 'personal reasons'. For related news, see:
