Liberty Alliance responds to anti-Microsoft claims

Official line...

NEWS Earlier this week silicon.com reported that on the day the Liberty Alliance released its first set of technical specifications it also issued conflicting views on whether Microsoft's presence within the organisation will help or hinder future developments. You can read the original story here: http://www.silicon.com/a54606 Here is the official response from the Liberty Alliance. Liberty Alliance position on membership The whole philosophy of open standards is to include the widest range of stakeholders possible. However, their resources and expertise are not essential in delivering future technical specifications. With more than 65 members, the Liberty Alliance already has the necessary expertise to deliver open, platform-agnostic specifications for federated network identity.
