Microsoft pulls buggy Mac software

NEWS Microsoft has pulled free downloads of a software that allowed Palm users to link with the Mac version of Office from its site after users complained of bugs. The software, which was introduced last week, allowed information to pass between Palm handhelds and the Entourage email and calendar programme in Office. However, some users said the bugs caused so many problems that desktop applications needed to be reinstalled. Microsoft said it hoped to resolve the problem by the end of this week.
