NEWS Sybase CEO Jon Chen claims the company is in better shape than ever and is surviving well in a grim economy. He said the company remains profitable and banged the drum for a new partnership with PeopleSoft. The deal means the two will jointly market products and PeopleSoft will fully support Sybase software on future PeopleSoft releases.
