NEWS German business software group SAP has revealed that its sales and revenues for the third quarter are looking even better than expected. Following a review of its results, SAP expects its software revenues for the quarter to be around 430m. The figures see the company's revenues holding steady, hovering around the same level as results in Q2 and in the corresponding quarter of last year. SAP's total revenue is expected to be approximately 1.65bn for the quarter, slightly down on Q3 2002. It had been thought that SAP might see a revenue drop for Q3, but the software company said that it had benefited from deals which it thought would close in the second quarter closing in Q3. Full results for the quarter will be announced on 16 October.
