The official release of Windows Vista will be 30 November 2006 to business customers only, quashing rumours of a December release.
Microsoft Office System, Windows Vista and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 will become broadly available to business customers on 30 November, according to the software giant.

So far as I can tell "Gates and co" never give anything away if they can help it so I don't think the term "Christmas present" is an appropriate one for a $soft release.
