The Cliq: Qwerty, touchscreens and social networks

By Kent German and Bonnie Cha on 14 September 2009 14:25

The Cliq is Motorola's first Google Android device. In the US, the Cliq will be exclusive to T-Mobile and will be available later this year. It will be the third Android phone for the carrier (joining the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G and the T-Mobile G1). Outside the US the Cliq will be available in 2010 under the name Dext. Pricing has not yet been announced.

The Motorola Cliq is aimed at "connected socialisers". Those who use social networking sites heavily and also want a device that can combine work and personal lives.
