Photos: Microsoft sweetens Aero for Windows 7

Vista interface gets a revamp in latest OS

With Windows 7 officially released tomorrow, here's a walkthrough of what the new OS will look like once it's installed.

Introduced for Vista, the translucent Aero skin has been heavily developed and expanded in Windows 7. See what this key design and interface feature looks in the new operating system.

Here's the Windows 7 desktop. Just like in previous versions of Windows, you can easily drag the taskbar to other edges of the screen and tweak its behaviour. The icons are quite large, perfectly sized for the new native Windows 7 support for touchscreens.
