Overview Polcotton, a Warsaw, Poland-based cotton trading company, is a global operation - purchasing cotton from Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, and operating storage facilities in Latvia and Iran. To support and manage its widespread operations, the company required an enterprise software infrastructure that would enable seamless communications among all office locations and create visibility into global operations. Polcotton's legacy software could not provide the integrated, real-time data that the company needed to make informed business decisions. It also could not scale to accommodate the company's future growth. Polcotton selected Oracle E-Business Suite Special Edition to drive new efficiencies in stock control capability, contract management, and product profitability control.
