Overview Transmed is a sales, distribution, and bottling organization for fast moving consumer goods in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. The challenges were to streamline warehouse management and distribution processes, increase order accuracy and gain real-time overview of order status through placement, dispatch, and arrival at customer site and manage growing business without increasing staff numbers. The company replaced multiple legacy systems with a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system from Oracle to provide single, pre-integrated, Web-enabled solution for financial, distribution, and warehouse management. The company used Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Logistics Management solution to automate and streamline inventory, warehouse, and transportation management processes.
