The George Washington University Reduces Errors and Improves Productivity With Data Controls

Overview George Washington University wanted to reduce data entry errors and maintain customizations on data entry forms without requiring rewriting of code with each upgrade or patch. The challenge was to ensure security of personal information throughout data processing. George Washington University implemented Oracle Preventive Controls Governor to introduce controls on data entry and to simplify maintenance of customizations to Oracle Financials as well as moved management of the institution's 20 to 30 form customizations outside of Oracle Financials, enabling automatic migration of customizations throughout any upgrades or patches.
