Overview Pontificia Universidad Javeriana wanted to implement a flexible and scalable IT infrastructure to improve admissions procedures and management of student information and create a database to consolidate academic information and facilitate access to and administration and analysis of information for timely decision making. The challenge was to automate enrollment procedures to accelerate student registration and reduce reprocessing and duplication of data and provide a self-service Web environment in which students can enroll, select classes, consult assignments, and receive academic advice online. Pontificia Universidad Javeriana worked with Oracle Consulting to implement a flexible, high-availability platform, improving access to academic information and facilitating timely decision making and implemented PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions, automating registration procedures and accelerating enrollment by 75%.
