Overview Individually developed solutions for operational data acquisition were no longer suited for the constantly increasing requirements of the auto industry. Among other things, auto producers demanded traceable verification, in order to find production errors faster. Mr. Bay and his colleagues wanted a system where most of the data acquisition takes place directly at the production machines and offers constant modular solutions. It should include a wide range of standard functions and be able to be supplemented by GETRAG SynchronTechnik in regard to individual requirements. After the bidding and comparison phase, GETRAG SynchronTechnik quickly decided in favor of the MES (Manufacturing Executive System) solution of MPDV Mikrolab GmbH.
