Inetium Case Study: Medical Benefits Company

Overview Medical Benefits Company is a fast growing pharmacy benefit managerial company, providing pharmacy benefits for millions of people nationwide through employers, managed-care plans, unions and governmental entities. Customer was using Windows XP unattended install system for deploying desktops. The system was time-consuming, difficult to configure, and frequently failed. Business Desktop Development 2007 (BDD) was implemented with Windows XP Professional images so that support operators can create one image, set up a configuration database system using vendor supplied machine identifications, and then deploy as many custom configured desktops as needed at the same time. The BDD solution was also configured to deploy Windows Vista for a corporate pilot.
