Seismic Recorders Rely on VersaLogic's PC/104-Plus SBC

Overview Geometrics approached VersaLogic while looking for a PC/104-Plus solution for their application. To support their field use of the units, a small footprint and rugged board-level product was essential. In addition, exceptional reliability and long term availability were critical in order to avoid costly down-time and to ensure a stable product line over time. Lastly, and most importantly, Geometrics required outstanding customer support and engineering assistance to facilitate their design. VersaLogic worked very closely with Geometrics to help them realize their goals. Geometrics selected VersaLogic's Panther board, a PC/104-Plus Single Board Computer, for their application as it had the horse-power, rugged build, and the small size required for their portable device.
