Overview Eureka Stock and Share Broking Services Ltd., a Kolkata trading and commerce company, was an early adopter of Information Technology. As today's new financial products and services grow in number and complexity, so has Eureka's customer service challenges. To stay competitive, the company needed to make an investment in new technology. In 2005 Eureka worked with Diamond Infotech Pvt. Ltd., an IT consultant and Intel Premier Provider, to upgrade Eureka's computing capabilities. They chose high-performance Intel processor-based desktop and server platforms running a Linux operating system to enhance security and scalability while dramatically improving performance, adding 25 new Intel Pentium 4 processor-based PCs and 10 Intel Xeon processor-based 4-way servers.
