Category: IT Management, Enterprise Applications
Tags: erp, crm, management
Overview Koch, Neff & Volckmar GmbH (KNV), a book wholesaler established 175 years ago, distributes books, maps, new media, games and gift items. The challenge was to replace a high maintenance custom solution with a single, standardized solution capable of handling all purchasing, stock, order management, and pricing processes and ease integration of new areas of business and divisions. The company implemented an array of modules from Oracle E-Business Suite to unify and integrate business operations in all of KNV's sites, including the recently acquired Schreyer and used Oracle's purchasing, stock and order management, and automated pricing modules and capabilities to streamline operations, eradicate inefficiencies, and reduce operating costs.
