The resort sought to connect with its employee team and thousands of customers while improving server management during unprecedented company growth. HP supplied two HP Integrity rx8640 Servers with Intel Itanium 2 processors running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Pechanga uses the platform in several ways: to execute its server consolidation strategy, to implement a data warehouse using SQL Server 2005, and to run its business intelligence and development environment.
