Nitro Bickford Improves Stock Management, Boosting Order Volume

Overview A subsidiary of Davey Bickford, Nitro Bickford is specialized in the distribution of explosives, associated services and blasting implements (for mines, quarries, structures). The company wanted to optimize the traceability of powders and explosives to comply with safety standards. The challenge was to increase accuracy of stock management and location within stringent storage rules and constraints and improve restocking of warehouses and improve management of returns of products. They also wanted to improve tracking of expiration dates for equipment and other pertinent tracking dates, for security purposes. Nitro Bickford implemented Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Logistics Management solution to replace an outdated legacy system and support the supply chain end-to-end.
