Intranet Effectiveness in Large Corporation (An Australian Perspective)

Overview This paper has revealed that intranet is a major provider of information in this particular corporation. The participants of the survey indicated that the intranet should be able to make it easier to find and use information to its subscriber, as well as to satisfy its users with the quality of information provided, and its design. On the other hand the research has also revealed that the most important information sources include e-mail, local (C:) or network (G, H), the intranet, personal connections/network, document management or storage system, briefing from the manager, etc.
