Overview Teaching Council wanted to streamline the production of statutory annual statistics digest detailing the number, age, gender, grade, and specialty of all registered teachers and respond efficiently to detailed, complex parliamentary questions and media queries which require quantitative data. The challenge was to generate the electoral register for the 2009 council elections on the basis of county, constituency, and voting category and generate timely, accurate statistics on teacher registration and cut time taken to create customized annual registration renewal mailings. Teaching Council implemented Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One, a complete, integrated, scalable BI solution for medium-sized organizations with advanced, intuitive functionality.
