Cool Maps With Custom Areas

Overview SAS/GRAPH software provides map coordinates for US state and city boundaries and also for several other countries. What if one wants to draw their own region boundaries on the US map other than the state or city boundaries that SAS/GRAPH provides? To be able to work with SAS/GRAPH, the author needed his region boundary coordinates in SAS traditional map datasets. How to create these map coordinate datasets? This paper has the answers! This paper walks one through the entire process from ground up - starting with converting non readable SAS map coordinates to generating wonderful drill down maps. This paper assumes working knowledge of SAS/GRAPH and ODS.
