Overview Columbia Memorial Hospital serves the scenic community of Astoria on the northwestern tip of Oregon, bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west and the mighty Columbia River to the north. The Hospital wanted to accommodate rapid organization growth and accompanying expansion of storage and demands on staff time by providing automated disk backups. The Hospital tested and deployed HP StorageWorks D2D Backup System with integrated LTO tape drive to consolidate and automate daily backups of essential back office data.
