Data Innovations Embeds Affordability Into Market-Leading Clinical Laboratory Middleware Solution

Overview Data Innovations (DI) wanted to increase market penetration by making LPM affordable and maintenance-free with rapid installation capabilities for hospitals and clinical laboratories without an existing Oracle site license and develop a high availability version of LPM with dynamic data backup to increase security and sample data integrity for customers operating older or less reliable laboratory systems. The challenge was to minimize risk by avoiding the need for upfront investment in the technology required to develop a high availability version of LPM. Data Innovations (DI) implemented Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, integrating it directly into LPM version 5.5.3 to provide an embedded, boxed turnkey solution for smaller clinics and laboratories which may not use Oracle Database.
