Deutsche Apotheker-und Arztebank eG Improves Employee Data Protection by Consolidating Servers

Overview Deutsche Apotheker-und Arztebank wanted to transfer personnel data to the company's central IT infrastructure and eliminate the need for manual customizations to the company's Human Resources (HR) application. The challenge was to increase security for highly sensitive personnel data, such as salary details and increase efficiency and effectiveness of work processes in the HR department. Deutsche Apotheker-und Arztebank worked with Oracle Partner MT AG and Oracle Consulting to implement Oracle Database Vault, allowing the company to separate functional responsibility and administrative tasks and ensured consistent and flexible security for HR data, without requiring costly application customizations.
