Overview Angelcom S.A. wanted to implement a high-availability IT infrastructure to develop an efficient technical and operating platform for the mass transit collections system. The challenge was to extend online, real-time visibility of information throughout the organization and reduce the time required to back up 4.5 million transactions to the computing center to improve operating efficiency. Angelcom S.A. worked with Oracle Partner DB System Ltda to migrate into Oracle Database 11g and a robust, high-availability IT infrastructure - creating a highly efficient collections system as well as implemented Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, to extend reliable, up-to-date information throughout the organization.
