Tetra Tech Engineers Grow With eServer IBM Technology

Overview Tetra Tech company wanted a decentralized IT infrastructure that included 23 enterprise applications in multiple data centers was expensive, difficult to manage and didn't provide a single source for consolidated operations information required to satisfy the business management needs of Tetra Tech. The company consolidated hardware infrastructure into a single data center with a single remote disaster recovery backup site; implemented a new enterprise application environment built on IBM eServer hardware and running the IBM AIX 5L operating system - 1 IBM eServer p5 570 server, 12 IBM pSeries 615 model 6C3 servers, 2 pSeries 630 model 6C4 systems and 2 pSeries 650 servers; 4 IBM eServer xSeries servers will run the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 2.4 operating system.
