TBZ Reduces Overheads and Simplifies Application Delivery by Moving to a Web-Based Architecture

Overview Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) wanted to migrate from a client server to a Web-based model of application delivery to reduce costs and simplify deployment and upgrade to Oracle Forms 10g to leverage investment in Oracle Forms and take advantage of service-oriented architecture. The challenge was to provide users across India with 24-hour access to business applications such as financials and inventory management and support an increasing number of users across geographically remote locations. TBZ engaged Oracle Certified Partner Clover Infotech to upgrade from Oracle Database 9i to Oracle Database 10g, and migrate from Oracle Forms to Oracle Forms 10g as well as reduced the cost and complexity of installing, configuring, and administering applications by moving to a Web-based architecture.
