Overview Al Jomaih is General Motors' distributor in Saudi Arabia and makes and distributes PepsiCo beverages throughout the kingdom. The company wanted to reduce operating costs; streamline, simplify, and optimize process cycles; improve staff productivity. The challenge was to gain real-time control of resources while improving day-to-day decision making, strategic planning, flexibility and increase customer satisfaction and grow revenue. The company installed an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from Oracle over SAP to replace aging mainframe legacy system and standalone applications requiring extensive customizations.
