Beverage Maker Integrates SAP Software Traceability Functions to Meet EU Regulation
Category: Data Management, IT Management, Enterprise Applications
Overview At Rivella AG (Rivella), based in Rothrist, Switzerland, SAP software takes on all imaginable colors, from red, blue, green, and fruit-juice orange, to the clear transparency of mineral water. Rivella, the manufacturer and supplier of non-alcoholic drinks such as Rivella and Michel fruit juices, and Passaia, recently started mapping all goods movements, with color coding, into its long-established SAP software system. This enables the company to trace all batches and even individual pallets at any time up to customer delivery as required by European Union (EU) regulation 178/2002.
