It's Smooth Sailing for the Biggest Yachting Event in the World Thanks to Microsoft Web Solution Platform

Overview Every summer more than 5,500 yachtsmen from 50 countries and some hundreds of thousands of fans make "Kieler Woche" in the north of Germany the highlight of the regatta season. It would be impossible to cope with the organization of the biggest yachting event in the world, with more than 100 years of tradition, without the use of modern software technology. Microsoft Windows DNA (Microsoft's Web solution platform), in combination with the suite of Microsoft BackOffice applications are used to process the vast array of data needed to manage the regatta.
