Overview Universal Management Solutions (UMS) helps its customers align IT with business strategy by providing Software Asset Management (SAM) and licensing services for companies with IT environments ranging from several dozen to 60,000 computers. The company implemented Microsoft Asset Inventory Service, a core component of Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack, in diverse customer environments, helping each company develop a comprehensive view of its software environment and collect meaningful asset inventories quickly. Now, UMS is helping its customers simplify SAM, improve compliance, and use asset information to facilitate system upgrades and merger and acquisition initiatives.
