Overview Herker Industries is the supplier of precision parts and assemblies to a broad range of markets including heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace, hydraulics, and consumer power tools. In mid-1997, Herker began researching new ERP packages to replace its UNIX-based system. They first looked at Vantage because of its excellent reputation in the industry and word-of-mouth recommendations. The decision to purchase Vantage was made in November of that year.
