Overview United Bank Ltd wanted to consolidate fixed assets data held in disparate systems across 16 regions in Pakistan into a central repository and implement a fixed assets management system and integrate it with the core banking platform to enable a smooth exchange of data between the two applications. The challenge was to accelerate the creation of fixed assets reports. United Bank Ltd engaged Oracle Certified Advantage Partner IBM Pakistan to implement Oracle Fixed Assets and integrate the solution with the core banking platform and rolled out the solution to 1,119 branches, enabling the bank to manage 250,000 asset records with ease.
