Cetelem CR Expands Insight Into Business Processes and Facilitates Internal Collaboration

Overview Cetelem CR wanted to acquire a tool to describe risk management processes in IDS Scheer ARIS format, to comply with BNP Paribas' request for such descriptions for the purpose of Basel II homologation and gain greater insight into Cetelem CR's internal efficiency and performance, as well as greater control over operational risk. The challenge was to prepare and develop a referential information base with linked descriptions of job positions, responsibilities, and processes. Cetelem CR chose Oracle Business Process Analysis Suite, including Oracle Business Process Publisher, as powerful, flexible tools for gaining insight into business processes and defined nine core processes and six supporting processes for credit risk management and produced business process models to show compliance under the Basel II Advanced Approach.
