General Electric Infrastructure Cuts Clone Cycle Time by 84% and IT Management Requirements by 75%

Overview General Electric (GE) Infrastructure wanted to cut costs associated with managing the division's extensive global Oracle E-Business Suite environment that includes 17 production instances and more than 200 development, upgrade, and performance environments and reduce the time and effort required to clone instances of the company's Oracle E-Business Suite implementations. The challenge was to gain insight into the end-users experience so that the IT team can ensure high performance before emerging issues can escalate. General Electric (GE) Infrastructure implemented Oracle Enterprise Manager's Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite as a centralized system to efficiently manage the company's hundreds of Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
