Observations From the Trenches of Electronic Government

Overview Infrastructure, political mandate, and internal organization influence how a country manages e-government. E-gov goes by different names in different countries: In Hong Kong it is called "electronic service delivery"; in Australia it is known as "government on line"; and in India it is called "electronic government." In this article, the author explores and explains seven common themes among five different e-government implementations.
