Microsoft Case Study: SiteStuff

Overview The Co-founders began working to make SiteStuff a reality in 1999. They realized that SiteStuff's success would depend heavily on time to market and quickly began evaluating partner organizations to help them in key areas - e-commerce technology and developing a business plan and strategy. They also realized a need to use the best technology available. Technology goals included high performance, reliability, scalability, rapid deployment, and competitive pricing. Capgemini was chosen to develop an e-commerce Web site utilizing the Microsoft Web solution platform on the front end. In addition to this, Capgemini also performed the technical integration between SiteStuff and its first round of suppliers. Capgemini drove the critical, initial business planning and introduced SiteStuff to potential customers in the real estate market.
