Transport and Logistics Industry Insurance Claims Handled Consistently With XML

Overview Thomas Miller & Co Ltd processes tens of thousands of insurance claims for customers located in 150 countries. Thomas Miller wanted its customers to send and receive claims information electronically in a format which could be read by each party's computer systems. They needed a scaleable system which could cater for both small and medium enterprises as well as the largest operators. Thomas Miller worked with IT consultancy ICS to build an XML-enabled messaging system to run on Microsoft Windows 2000 with Active Server Pages, Microsoft COM+, Microsoft Message Queuing and Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.
