Category: Security

Tags: texas, remote access, ips, network

Overview Founded in 1925, Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) grew out of the teacher college or "Normal school" movement that swept Texas and the nation in the early 1900s, and is the oldest continuously operating public. Providing one of the best eLearning facilities in the region, the University network required unsurpassed wired, wireless, and remote access capabilities throughout the campus. The University selected the EdgeWall 8800 for its Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) capabilities which continuously inspects and performs threat mitigation on endpoint traffic as it passes through the network.
