Hankook Tire: Protection From Network Threats
Overview Hankook Tire of Seoul, Korea, is one of the world's biggest tire manufacturers, making passenger, high-performance radials and other products for sale in more than 200 countries. Hankook Tire wanted to secure Hankook's worldwide corporate network against malicious intrusions which were flooding the network, causing downtime and exposing confidential corporate data to unauthorized acquisition. Hankook deployed Juniper's IDP1000 and IDP500 products at key points in its network to protect its servers and data at the central office, R&D center and manufacturing plants.
