Overview Located in Brazil, Claro (a subsidiary of America Movil) is a telecommunications company with over 12,000 employees. Claro wanted to improve management and security of its 9,000 desktops and notebooks, the majority of which are running on Windows 2000. Claro has deployed a 48-user Windows Vista pilot in a test lab environment involving 3 office locations. A pilot deployment and a business-value case study that involved a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis showed how upgrading Claro's PCs to Windows Vista, the next-generation PC operating system, would help provide these benefits.
