Overview EVERTEC, Inc., a subsidiary of Popular, Inc., provides IT and data processing services to clients in the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America through offices in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, El Salvador, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Guatemala. The company uses nearly 50 installation images to manage 14,000 customer PCs and 1,470 internal PCs. EVERTEC seeks to manage fewer images, reduce deployment time, and enhance security and user productivity. A business value study conducted by IDC showed that EVERTEC could use core capabilities of Windows Vista to improve PC management, reduce PC operational costs, increase user productivity, and enhance security.
