The company wanted to accommodate rapid growth in subscriber base to establish economical IT infrastructure to reduce operating costs and promote profitability and improve ability to handle large number of concurrent customer calls. Vonage Holdings Inc. is rolling out Sun Fire T1000 and T2000 servers running on the Solaris 10 Operating System in its datacenters. The solution enables the VoIP provider to efficiently and cost effectively handle a rapidly growing number of concurrent calls while reducing its total operating costs.
