Leading U.K. Building Society Receives New Infrastructure Under Development Process

Overview Nationwide asked Microsoft Gold Certified Partner GamCom to create a solution for its Lending Control Department. Nationwide was experiencing inefficiencies because it could not adapt and extend its range of existing platforms in response to evolving business needs. It selected GamCom to upgrade and extend this system. Rather than using Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Excel, as it would have done previously, GamCom used Microsoft Visual Studio Team System to deliver the solution. This project was the first built using a Customised and Extended Foundation Server. This gave GamCom the means to improve the efficiency and accuracy of its development process. Enhanced fault detection and visibility into project progress led to timely delivery of a high-quality solution.
