Dell Case Study: Park Nicollet

Overview Park Nicollet Health Services (PNHS) is an integrated care system in Minnesota, recognized as a leader in several specialty areas including heart, cancer, childbirth, diabetes, eating disorders, stroke and Parkinson's. PNHS recently launched a massive project to merge multiple patient records from its hospitals and clinics into a single patient record accessible online. It needed to replace unreliable computers and add hundreds of additional computers throughout its organization. They didn't have the means capable of deploying large numbers of PCs in a short period of time. After reviewing their existing and potential hardware and services providers, PNHS chose Dell because of its ability to deliver what it promised, more attractive pricing structure and dedication to continually make process improvements.
