Overview Crest Animation, a full-service animation studio based in India, has been growing rapidly and expanding its market by working on full-length feature movies. In addition, it has begun to create High Definition (HD) and 2K (2048 x 1556 resolution) animations. The company wanted to build a unified, high-performance storage infrastructure that can remove storage bottlenecks, improve application performance and productivity, and help the company increase the speed of creating animated feature films and TV shows. Crest Animation deployed a comprehensive HP storage solution, including a 12-node HP Enterprise File Services (EFS) Cluster Gateway, three HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array 8000 (EVA8000) disk arrays, and HP ProCurve 5412 switches.
