Overview Hospital Aleman wanted to implement a scalable, flexible IT infrastructure to provide efficient administration of the hospital's medical and administrative information and centralize data in a robust database to facilitate access to patients' clinical information. The challenge was to implement a digital format for clinical histories to automate patient data searches and facilitate care more quickly and facilitate online access to up-to-date information to improve the quality of patient care. Hospital Aleman implemented a flexible, scalable IT infrastructure built on an Oracle infrastructure, improving the hospital's procedures for managing medical and administrative information and accelerated both patient admission and care delivery times by 50%.
