Overview By transitioning to a majority-laptop IT infrastructure over the next four years, the state of California has the potential to yield substantial savings in energy costs and employee time. In addition, a dynamic IT landscape that is mobile, standardized, centralized, simplified, and automated will result in a system that is better equipped to face security threats and more efficient at meeting California's environmental goals.
